Small Ruminant Bulk Handler

The Small Ruminant Bulk Handler (SRBH) is an all Australian designed and built mechanical V Race handler for sheep and goats. Designed to improve safety of both operator and animal, the SRBH is fully mechanical providing flexibility of location on your property.

With a 6m long working area the SRBH allows you to drench, tag, mark and health check larger numbers of animals, quickly and safely. V baffle sides that have an adjustable width for different breeds and a drop away floor, make restraining animals easier and safer, and remote operation end gate operation makes work processes smoother with less energy expended by the operator.

Designed for and tested in Australian conditions and Australian livestock the Small Ruminant Bulk Handler is a cost effective solution for eID tagging requirements.

Constructed from 100% Australian Steel, with paint and flooring both Australian made inputs. Built on site in southern Queensland and backed by an Australian customer service team.

Fully mechanical - no need for electrical connection, generator or air compressor.

**Ramp and V Baffle race**
Animals enter via ramp (included in machine) to an adjustable V Sided ramp to a 600mm height, the V baffle race is in the engaged position.

**Adjustable V Baffle**
The V Baffle race is adjustable to suit different breeds. No need to draft off lambs or kids. Drench ewes and does and mark lambs and kids in a single operation. No need to lift lambs or kids to mark.

**Side opening access to contain animals before dropping floor**
Roll away race sides to contain animals when entering the V race. These sides roll away to give operator full access to head and upper body of the animal.

**Animal is contained at comfortable working height**
Drop away the floor, and the animal is now resting on their lower body, with legs suspended.

**Aussie made recycled flooring**
Light, strong recycled plastic flooring with textured grip and ventilation/water proof grating design. Used in Snowy Mountain National Park as walking track, the flooring is strong and proven. Will not rust if using copper sulphate or other products for treating feet.

**Floor at fully lowered**
When the V Baffle is engaged and the floor is lowered, the floor is 150mm off the ground.

Suitable for all breeds of small ruminant

This model ewe is based on the Wiltipol breed. She is 700mm tall at her wither and 950mm long.

**Animals exit**
Animals exit via drop of 300mm. Testing has found that animals are comfortable with this type of fall.
